Projects

Water And Sanitation

Over the past few years Council, RIDA and other development partners have been seized with projects linked to the provision of clean drinking water to communities. Sinking of boreholes and development of solar powered piped water schemes has seen schools, clinics and members of the community in various wards benefiting from these schemes.

Road Maintanance

Council has a total road network of 789km, the network comprises of Gravel roads, earth roads and tarred roads. As is known Council is a Road Authority and is therefore mandated to maintain its road work by striving to keep it in a trafficable state. Every year we come up with a program of works that we submit to ZINARA for us to receive funding disbursement for road maintenance.
